I think it went well the first time some sounds were not very good however we recorded some again to improve. We worked well as a group, listening to ideas etc and everyone did something. We were also very creative to make simple objects found like sounds for instance a bag as a master roaring.
Unfortunately we had to do some rerecording but we should of tried to get them spot on first time. Also an improvement could be if everyone used the equipment and made a sound instead of someone not doing much. Also while editing the sound was high in one hear and low in the other so next time i could find out how to fix that issue.
We made the sounds from a variety of props one example is for a dragon wings flapping we used newspaper and flapped it and for a monster roaring we found a empty bag on the floor in the studio and we kicking it on the floor and it made a screeching sound that sounds like a monster. For a heartbeat I tapped on a plastic cup.
Before we started recording we watched a video about folly sounds and he explained about his job and how he did it.
I found the editing really easy apart from trying to remove the background noise of someone talking however we just recording that gain cause I couldn't remove it.
